Discover what’s new, and how we’re evolving to better support your career and leadership development.

In case you haven’t noticed, things look a little different around here!

After months of work behind the scenes, we’re excited to share our new website, updated branding, and a new framework that captures how we partner with purpose-driven leaders.

Evolving Alongside Our Clients

Why was it time to make these changes? After nearly 11 years in business, we were ready for a refresh.

While it’s always fun to update colors and logos, the main reason for this rebrand was because our work, and the people we work with (you!), have evolved.

When we got started back in 2014, our primary focus was helping social impact professionals navigate career transition

Leveraging our experience in recruitment, we helped clients craft their job search strategies, tell their stories, and navigate the process with confidence to land new roles that were right for them.

But as we worked with more and more clients, we started to notice two things:

  • Many clients were coming to us before they were ready to start searching, seeking more clarity about what they wanted next as they reached an inflection point in their lives and careers.

  • Other clients were returning after landing new roles, seeking coaching as they continued to grow as leaders and navigate change and complexity.

Over time, it became clear that we weren’t just coaching people through career transition anymore. We were supporting them across the full cycle of career and leadership development

Our *New* Career Navigation Framework

While we’ve been doing (and loving!) this expanded work for a while, we haven’t been as intentional about communicating our evolution.

So we created a new framework that reflects the Career Navigation Cycle we move through with our clients, and that we all revisit regularly throughout our careers:

This cycle includes three key phases:

  • Career Clarity - This phase is focused on gaining insight into what matters most to you and where you want to go next. It often begins with a sense of dissatisfaction, stuckness, or confusion about what’s ahead, and can be tied to times of major life change or big inflection points. We partner with clients seeking career clarity through our Take Ownership of Your Career group program and our individual Career and Leadership Coaching program.

  • Career Transition - Once you have more clarity about what you want, it’s time to take intentional action to land your next role. The Career Transition stage begins when you actively decide to move to something new, and it incorporates all the parts of the job search and transition process - from defining your goals and strategy, to crafting your story, to updating your materials, to interviewing and negotiating an offer. We partner with clients navigating career transition through our self-paced Job Search Course, our group Job Search Jumpstart program, and our individual Career and Leadership Coaching program.

  • Leadership Growth - After you land a new role, it’s important to start strong and continue to develop the skills and mindset you need to lead effectively and sustainably. In the Leadership Growth stage, you build awareness of your unique leadership style and how you want to grow as a leader, while staying connected to your bigger career and life goals. We partner with clients focused on leadership growth through our new Balanced Leader Workshop Series and our individual Career and Leadership Coaching program.

We’re now building all of our programs and offerings around these three pillars, so we can meet clients wherever they are in this journey, and partner with them through the transitions that come with every career over time.

A Brand That Matches the Depth of Our Work

Our updated brand and visual identity reflects this evolution as well.

Our new color palette is a bit darker, to represent the maturity and depth of our work. Our coaching isn’t surface-level; it’s focused on meaningful reflection, and helping you get deeply in touch with who you are today, and where you want to go and grow in the future.

We kept our pop of orange because it reminds us of the value of curiosity and play, and because we believe that career and leadership development can be energizing and fun, not just serious.

And we’re continuing to use our signature map icon, which symbolizes the ongoing journey of learning, growth, and exploration we all navigate throughout our lives and careers.

We see ourselves as the guide walking alongside you on that journey - even when you’re not quite sure where you’re headed next. (And our team members *love* to travel, so the map reflects our passion for exploring the world too!)

What’s Next

In the coming months, we’ll be sharing more resources and offerings aligned with each stage of the Career Navigation Cycle, to help you feel grounded in where you are now and supported as you work toward what’s next.

And if you’re ready to take the next step in your Leadership Growth, we invite you to join us for our new Balanced Leader Workshop Series launching this June.

This 3-part interactive workshop series will help you build the skills, clarity, and resilience to lead with intention, especially during times of uncertainty and change like the one we’re navigating now. We’d love to have you with us.

Wherever you are in your career journey, we hope this new site and framework help you feel seen and supported, and that it will help spark new ideas for you as you grow your career and your leadership.

We’re honored to have you as part of our community, and we’re excited to continue evolving along with you!
